Melissa is a native Houstonian who has lived and worked in Houston most of her life. After law school Melissa clerked for the Honorable Judge Thomas Smith in New Jersey before moving to the District of Columbia to practice law. Since returning to Texas, Melissa has practiced debtor side consumer bankruptcy. Melissa now manages the Houston office of the Malaise Law Firm and is committed to providing clients with first rate advocacy. Melissa is an active member of the Houston Association of Debtor's Attorneys. Melissa's hobbies include martial arts and traveling.
