Infamous Gambler Files for Chapter 7
A man once indicted for shaking down vendors at an electronic store is now filing for Chapter 7 bankruptcy in Las Vegas, Nevada.
A few years before, the man was one of the best-known high rollers in the Vegas area. By throwing money around casinos, he gained fame and a bit of notoriety for his flashy antics. Where he once requested bottles of top-caliber champagne and expensive chocolates delivered to his hotel room, he is now claiming to be $137 million in debt.
Reports indicate that his bankruptcy papers were filed in San Jose last month and they include a long list of creditors. Amongst them, he lists numerous casinos in which he owes over a total of $18 million in gambling debts. His debts aren't limited to just the United States, however, as it is believed that he owes millions to three casinos in London as well.
