Traveling Carnival Seeks Bankruptcy Protection
Despite being featured in multiple movies, a traveling carnival has recently decided to file for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection.
Shamrock Shows, also known as North American Amusements Inc., is a traveling circus company that offers such rides as the Gravitron, a Ferris Wheel and the Chicago Loop. Some of its more popular rides have even been featured in movies over the years. However, the company was forced into Chapter 11 bankruptcy earlier this year, filing its petition in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court in Riverside. The company listed debts ranging from $1 million to $10 million, and assets of less than $50,000.
Company representatives are not responding to any phone calls at this time regarding the bankruptcy petition.
