Mr. Shulter has practiced consumer debtor bankruptcy law exclusively since 1987. He is board certified in consumer bankruptcy law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization and the American Board of Certification.

He has written and lectured extensively for the State Bar of Texas Advanced Consumer Bankruptcy seminars as well as for other legal education providers.

He has been the lead attorney in several published opinions determining significant legal issues in the San Antonio Bankruptcy courts.
In addition to practicing law, Mr. Shulter enjoys target pistol shooting with the .45 automatic. He is a life member of the National Rifle Association and the Texas State Rifle Association. He is married and has one daughter and one son.
