On December 16th a meeting a creditors will convene to discuss the case. However, this filing only pertains to Luther Falls Stone Company and not Luther Falls Custom Kitchens, a company that still have an operating showroom in Champaign’s Round Barn Centre.

There is supposedly just one creditor at this time, Global Granite and Marble of St. Louis, that has a secured claim of $38,566 against Luther Falls. Fourteen others have unsecured, nonpriority claims, including Levantita, a granite suppiler, that is claiming $90,266.

At this time Luke Falls, president of Illinois Granite and Marble Company, is not answering calls from the press. An interview was scheduled with the president only to be canceled a few hours later.
